This guide works for both the original housing and our custom housing, with a slight difference in step 2.
1. Test the received kit according to the provided pictures.
Follow the picture sequence to connect the panel strap and extension strap.
Ensure everything is connected correctly before powering on to check if the panel displays normally.
2. If the test is normal, proceed with case assembly.
First, connect the panel strap to the adapter board.
Note: The three fixed points of the panel installed on the original housing will be tilted up before the factory and are not required if used on a custom housing
A. Compatible with the original housing:
Remove tape from adapter board and affix it to back of panel (now folded in reverse). Then connect extension strap to adapter board and attach touch pad at top of extension strap to case. Ensure lower part of extension strap matches arrangement of panel strap before disassembly.
B. Compatible with custom housing:
Insert panel strap from back of adapter board, then install special plastic bracket; ensure touch pad is attached above bracket.
Note: Do not tear the insulation glue here, otherwise it will cause short circuit damage to the panel
3. Insert end of extension strap into socket on GBASP motherboard.
If brightness adjustment for buttons is needed, connect wire as shown in picture (optional).
4. Install all buttons and speaker, secure motherboard with three screws, then cover it with back cover and tighten six screws,Finally, install the battery and battery cover
Installation complete.
