TUTORIAL For GBA SP IPS MAX Display Laminated Kit

Testing phase:

 

SP Motherboard MAX screen

TouchpadTurn on the OSD panel

Screen motherboard  Connection line

 

1. Open the black connector on the drive board.

2. Insert the screen into the groove and then cover it with the black cover plate.

3. Carefully lift the black cover upwards.

 

4. Insert the touchpad into it and then cover it with the black cover plate.

(Please note the installation direction of the touchpad)

5. Lift the black cover plate in the picture upwards.

6. Insert the connection cable into the position as shown in the figure.

(Please note the direction of the connecting cable)

7. Insert the other end of the connection cable into the SP motherboard.

(Please note the direction of the connecting cable)

8. Turn on the power of the SP and check if the screen can display properly and if there are any damaged pixels on the screen.

9. Gently touch the touch panel with your fingers, tweezers or a screwdriver to check if the touch panel can adjust the brightness normally. 
Or you can try long-pressing the touchpad to see if it can bring up the OSD .

Installation  stage:

 

After the test is completed, please remove the connection cable on the SP motherboard.

Then you need to prepare these items.
For original shell :
  1. Stick the double-sided tape on the back of the screen.
  2. Remove the double-sided adhesive on the touchpad and attach the touchpad to the position as shown in the picture. (After removing the double-sided adhesive, try not to let the touchpad get covered with large particles of dust.)

     3. Close the cover of the shell and arrange the connecting wires as shown in the picture. Then,           screw on the screws as shown in Figure 2.

     4. Pass the connecting wire through the groove as shown in the figure.

      5. Install the cover and screw the screws onto the bottom.

    6.

Step 1: Connect the motherboard of the SP with a connecting line (please pay attention to the direction of the connecting line and ensure it is properly installed); 

Step 2: Install all the accessories such as the buttons and the silicone pads;

Step 3: Install the SP motherboard and tighten the screws.


     7. Merge the top cover and the bottom cover together, and make sure that every screw is                     properly installed (including the screws inside the battery cover)

     8. Turn on the console.
