Full disclosure: I had zero issues with the v1 of the IPS ribbon. The diagonal refresh and screen tearing were not really that noticeable to me. However, for $15, I decided to pull the trigger. Its definitely better than the v1, but I don't know that its worth the upgrade unless you play games that are known to have screen tear issues, such as the Pokemon games or F-Zero. If you have a v1, don't upgrade, if you have any other solution or the stock screen? DEFINITELY get this thing. Its an amazing upgrade over stock.

No more screen tearing! This makes the original kit perfect.
The IPS screen is far superior to the AGS-101 screen as it's brighter, has no discernable ghosting, and has a far greater pixel density so you don't have that screen door effect of the original screens.

Way better than the original. Still bull shit that your early adopters had to purchase another even though you knew is was screwed up when you shipped it out.

Improved the quality of the screen by removing the tearing of the v1 cable. Image is crisp and smooth like it should be
